2006年09月30日，交旅公交新辟79路，起讫站为苏安首末站潘阳工业园（旺庄）。

2013年10月10日，交旅公交注销，原有3路、72路、76路、77路、78路、79路、82路、83路、84路、85路、86路、87路、88路、89路、306路、442路、518路、811路、812路、851路、852路、861路划归相城公交运营管理。

2015年12月10日，集团姑苏公司70路更名为970路，800路更名为980路，712路更名为827路。集团相城公司72路更名为872路，76路更名为876路，79路更名为879路，711路更名为871路，713路更名为873路，715路更名为875路。
